Katerina Steele AB'03 MBA'16

katerina_steeleKaterina Steele has focused her career on unlocking the potential of biotech brands by uncovering deep insights about what they mean to their customers and the community. She currently leads marketing research for Shire Pharmaceuticals’ market-leading hematology franchise.
Katerina is a two-time Maroon. She graduated from the College at the University of Chicago in 2003 and earned her MBA from the Booth School of Business in 2016. She began her career in healthcare-focused advertising at AbelsonTaylor, helping to build brands and solve marketing challenges for clients ranging from biotech startups to big pharma blockbusters.

Esther Pandian-Riske AM'05

esther-pandian-riskeEsther Pandian-Riske is the Associate Director of the Graduate Student-at-Large & Graduate Student-at-Large Business Programs. Originally from Singapore, Esther came to Chicago as a student, and has two master’s degrees from the University of Chicago: an MA from MAPSS and an MPP from the Harris School of Public Policy Studies.
Esther was previously the Assistant Dean of Students at the Honors College at UIC, Dean of Multicultural Affairs at the Latin School of Chicago, and the Assistant Dean of Students for the Graduate Division of the Social Sciences at the University of Chicago. She has years of experience in student advising and her main objective at the GSAL and GSALB programs is to ensure an exemplary student experience, working towards successful graduate school and career advancement. Esther oversees the special Bridge Scholarship Initiatives, the College Bridge Advising Program and supports international students attempting to bridge their academic efforts from GSAL to further Masters or PhD programs.
