Join us for a one-hour panel discussion with Candace and Tawana, who will share their experiences, interviewing tips and examples to help you prepare for behavioral interviews, which are a critical phase in any interview process.

About the Presenters: 

candaceCandace Mui, Associate Director, Student Preparation, joined Career Advancement in the summer of 2014 and advises undergraduate students on career planning and interview prep. She has over 15 years of experience working in various roles and institutions to support students, such as the American Bar Association, DePaul University’s Center for Students with Disabilities, and DePaul’s College of Education. At DePaul, Candace counseled students with different levels of ability, as well as prospective students interested in pursuing and applying to graduate school. Candace is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and earned her BA from the University of Michigan and her M.Ed. from DePaul University. In her spare time, Candace enjoys watching NBA basketball and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
Tawana Banks is an Assistant Director within the Office of Career Advancement at the University of Chicago.  In this role she serves as a resource for students seeking individual advising around career exploration, internship and job search strategies, and interview preparation. Prior to joining the University of Chicago Tawana worked as a Career Program Manager at the Posse Foundation for two years. Tawana graduated from the University of North Texas with an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration and also earned a B.S in Marketing from Hampton University.
